He translated Hannah Moscovitch’s In This World into French and is currently working on an adaptation of Frank Wedekind’s Spring Awakening. David has been the recipient of the Governor General’s Literary Award for French-language drama, the Prix Michel-Tremblay, two Prix Sony-Labou-Tansi, two Quebec Critic’s Choice Awards for Best Play for Young Audiences, and Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui’s Audience Choice Award.
